2026 Surron Ultra Bee: The Ultimate Mid-Size Electric Dirt Bike

Welcome to the sweet spot of electric off-road performance. Indeed, the Surron Ultra Bee brilliantly bridges the gap between the nimble, lightweight Light Bee and the full-size, heavy-hitting Storm Bee. Specifically designed for riders who demand more power and range than a mini-moto, but prefer a lighter, more agile machine than a full-size 450cc equivalent, the Ultra Bee delivers a masterclass in mid-size capability.
Ultimately, whether you are a seasoned trail rider or a weekend warrior, Electric Dirt Bike Riding has never been this accessible, thrilling, or maintenance-free. Furthermore, the Ultra Bee strips away the noise, fumes, and endless wrenching of gas engines. Consequently, this leaves you with nothing but pure, instant torque and the freedom to explore.

Key Features of the Sur-Ron Ultra Bee

To achieve this level of performance, Sur-Ron engineered the Ultra Bee to be a versatile, do-it-all electric powerhouse right out of the crate:

  • Race-Ready Suspension: Equally important, the long-travel, fully adjustable inverted front forks and progressive rear monoshock are tuned to handle everything from rooty forest trails to hard-packed jumps.

Built to Dominate Every Discipline

Next-Level Electric Dirt Bike Riding

When it comes to Electric Dirt Bike Riding, the Ultra Bee offers a truly transformative experience. Because the absence of engine noise allows you to hear the terrain, you can easily communicate with riding partners and explore trails without disturbing wildlife. However, when you crack the throttle, the silent, instant torque delivers a rush that leaves traditional gas bikes struggling to keep up. Therefore, it is the ultimate blend of serene exploration and explosive performance.

Offroad Racing & Motorcross Readiness

Moving on to the track, the Ultra Bee was born for offroad racing and motorcross. In fact, in endurance events, the bike’s manageable 187 lb weight gives riders a massive advantage in fatigue management, allowing you to pick the bike up effortlessly in technical sections. Similarly, for motorcross track days, the mid-size geometry, long-travel suspension, and rigid frame provide the confidence needed to attack tabletops and rhythm sections. Thus, it is a legitimate, zero-emission weapon for the starting gate.

Surron Ultra Bee Top Speed & Performance

Naturally, riders constantly ask, “how fast does a Surron Ultra Bee go?” and what is the Surron Ultra Bee top speed? Well, in unrestricted Race Mode, this machine hits a blistering 56 MPH (90 km/h). Meanwhile, the advanced controller ensures smooth, predictable power delivery. As a result, you have total control whether you are crawling up a technical rock garden or pinning the throttle on a high-speed fire road.

Understanding the Surron Ultra Bee Price

⚠️ Important Legal & Safety Information

Please note, this is a high-performance vehicle. First and foremost, out of the box, the Sur-Ron Ultra Bee is classified strictly as an off-road competition vehicle. Consequently, it does not include DOT-approved lighting, mirrors, or a horn required for public street use. Therefore, it is the buyer’s sole responsibility to verify local DMV laws regarding the registration and street-legal conversion of electric motorcycles.
Furthermore, while highly manageable, the Ultra Bee’s power output demands respect. It is recommended for riders with prior experience on dirt bikes or motorcycles. Most importantly, riders must always wear a DOT/ECE/Snell-approved full-face motocross helmet, goggles, roost deflector, gloves, armored riding gear, and over-the-ankle motocross boots. Lastly, use only the official Sur-Ron charger, and store the bike in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: How fast does a Surron Ultra Bee go in Eco or Street mode?
A: While the top speed is 56 MPH in Race Mode, the onboard display allows you to limit the speed and soften the throttle response in Eco and Street modes. As a result, it becomes highly adaptable for beginners or casual trail cruising.
Q: Is the Surron Ultra Bee street legal?
A: Actually, no, it is sold as an off-road vehicle. However, while some regions have specific pathways to register high-power e-bikes for street use, it is entirely the buyer’s responsibility to research and comply with local laws.
Q: How long does the battery last during aggressive riding?
A: Typically, for hard motorcross or aggressive offroad racing, expect a range of 35–45 miles. On the other hand, for moderate, mixed-terrain trail riding, riders consistently achieve 60–75+ miles on a single charge.
Q: How does the maintenance compare to a gas dirt bike?
A: Simply put, it is drastically lower. For instance, there are no oil changes, valve adjustments, spark plugs, or carburetor cleanings. Instead, routine maintenance is limited to checking brake pad wear, lubricating the chain, and periodically greasing the suspension linkage bearings.

    Eric Sorensen –

I’ve owned a Light Bee for a couple of years, but at 6’2”, I always felt a bit cramped on it. The Sur-Ron Ultra Bee is the perfect size upgrade. The ergonomics are spot-on for taller riders, and the extra power is immediately noticeable. It climbs steep, loose hills that my old bike would struggle with. The larger battery also means I’m not constantly watching the range meter. Highly recommend for anyone who found the Light Bee too small.

    Stella Ferri –

I was worried about range anxiety when switching from gas to an electric dirt bike, but the Ultra Bee put those fears to rest. On a recent group ride, I did about 60 miles of mixed trail riding (some aggressive, some cruising) and still had 25% battery left. The regenerative braking on the downhill sections really helps stretch the mileage. The build quality feels premium, and the mid-drive motor is incredibly quiet and efficient

    Jason Klein –

Out of the box, the Sur-Ron Ultra Bee is a fantastic trail bike. However, I ride hard enduro and do a lot of rocky, technical terrain. The stock tires are a bit too street-biased for my taste, so I swapped them for knobby off-road tires immediately. I also added some handguards and a skid plate for extra protection. Once those minor tweaks were done, this thing became an absolute mountain goat. The power delivery is incredibly controllable.

This is my first electric motorcycle, and I had a lot of questions before buying. The team at [Your Company Name] was incredibly helpful, walking me through the differences between the models and explaining the road-legal requirements in my state. The bike arrived well-packaged and was easy to assemble. It’s been three months and zero issues. The app is great for tracking my rides and tweaking the throttle response. 10/10 experience.

    Scarlett Fontaine –

I was skeptical about an electric dirt bike replacing my 4-stroke, but the Ultra Bee did it. The power delivery is so smooth and predictable. The regenerative braking is amazing—it feels like engine braking on a gas bike, which saves a ton of wear on the actual brake pads. The biggest selling point for me? I haven’t had to change oil, clean an air filter, or rebuild a top end since I bought it. Just chain lube and tire pressure. The future is electric

    Jacob O’Shea –

The power on this machine is no joke. In Sport mode, it will easily loop out if you aren’t careful. The build quality is top-notch and the battery range is exactly as advertised (got about 65 miles on a mixed trail ride). My only critique is the stock rear shock. I’m 210 lbs and it bottoms out pretty easily on big motocross whoops. I ended up swapping to a stiffer spring, and now it rides perfectly. If you’re over 200 lbs, budget for a suspension re-valve.

    Samuel Becker –

I bought the ultra bee model to commute to work and hit the trails on the weekend. The street-legal setup is fantastic, and merging into traffic is a breeze with the 30 peak HP. I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 only because it is noticeably heavier than my old Light Bee. It takes a minute to get used to the weight when doing tight, technical single-track, but once you get moving, it feels incredibly planted and stable. Highly recommended for commuting!

  8. Rated 5 out of 5

    Aurora Esposito –

I’ve been riding gas dirt bikes for 15 years, and the Sur-Ron Ultra Bee completely blew my mind. The instant torque is addictive, and the best part is how quiet it is. I can ride the trails behind my house early in the morning without bothering the neighbors. It handles like a 125cc gas bike but with the power of a 250F. Zero maintenance so far, just charge it and ride. Best purchase I’ve made in years.

    Penelope Lewandowski –

Bought the Sur-Ron Ultra Bee for weekend fun with the buddies, and it’s the most fun I’ve had on two wheels. The chassis feels incredibly balanced, and the mid-mounted motor gives it a really low center of gravity. We ride for 2 hours straight and still have battery left over. The app connectivity is a nice touch to track our rides and adjust the throttle mapping. If you’re on the fence about pulling the trigger, just do it. You won’t regret it.
